It happens every time. People lose interest in me. They get tired of me. Suddenly, they don’t bother hitting me up anymore. The conversations become shorter. They forget about me and I just become a distant memory. I wonder if it’s my fault sometimes. But then I realize that people never stay in my life. And there’s nothing I can do about it.

I love being happy. But when happiness escapes me, I never try to put people down or make them feel like they’re nothing; like they’re unimportant. I try to talk to the people I trust; to the people I call my friends. I absolutely love my life and the people in it, but I would never treat anyone the way this one person treats me. I seriously feel like I’m nothing. I’m tired of being called a friend and treated like a nobody. I’m on the cusp of being done. I try. I really do try. But I don’t know how much longer I can stay silent.
